Obituary of Channen Felipe Ballesteros-Golian

BALLESTEROS-GOLIAN, Channen Felipe – Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Bluewater Health-Palliative Care on Monday, January 13, 2020 at the age of 34. Beloved wife of Paul Golian. Loving mother of Kira and Emma. Dear daughter of Nancy Felipe and the late Jerry Ballesteros, Sarnia. Sister of the late Claire Ballesteros. Also surviving are members of the DeJesus, Ballesteros, Felipe, Bumanglag and Nover families in the Philippines. She was the devoted aunt of Carla, Kyle, Khloe and Gabby, devoted niece of Lory, Kathleen, Winston and Jonard and cousin of Winnie, Carly, Rexel, John, Bryan and Cresan. Channen was born in Luna Kalinga-Apayao, The Philippines. She came to Canada in 2009 and lived in Vancouver, then Toronto before settling in Sarnia 5 years ago. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
