To my Dear Aunt Nadine, You have always been such a strong presence in my life for as long as I can remember. You were the cool aunt that Brian, Paul and I got to hang out with as kids. You allowed us to be ourselves and always included fun in the mix. My memories of the stunning RNA dressed in her pristine white uniform and cap, the smell of Tigress perfume and precisely applied makeup that I would sit on the edge of the tub watching in awe....as you got ready to head out for your shifts in the ER while I babysat the girls. The dedicated and proud mom ..your beautiful girls...you raised them to be strong, successful young women. Sharing your life with Ward and embracing his children and grandchildren as your own. The care you shared with you own mom and all the seniors that you invited into your home for care. All the gatherings over the years...always a constant the family knew would be there with open arms and the best hugs.. You were my anchor, the rock that I relied on, as I cared for mom during her battle with cancer. It was your unwavering commitment to support me in her care that got us through. You have always been at the other end of the phone through the happy and the difficult. You were one of my kids biggest cheerleaders and someone that I could always count on for a straight forward "Gramma B" opinion. Even if I didn't ask for your two cents! Best gift you could have ever given me was to considered me to be "like a daughter". I will always cherish the memories we have all shared as a family. There are more than can ever be put to paper. Your absence in my life will be forever apparent and I only hope that I can honor you by being the best version of myself.. the person you always credited me for being. Thank you for your love. Lorrie
