Peg and family....sorry to hear of Bill's passing just today on July 5/21....i rented the main floor of your house at 343 Cotterbury Street in Sarnia from Nov15/89-May1/92 and enjoyed my time there except for the snow shovelling in the winter...lol...i have long retired 11 yrs ago from Shell Oil in Sarnia after 32 yrs service and i now live back in Windsor,Ont where i was born almost 62 yrs ago....Bill and I had something in common that we were both hypoglycemic and 7 yrs ago i was diagnosed with diabetes which is very dominant in my family on both sides so i am quite busy taking care of myself but it is under the great control of a Endocrinologist...again my deepest condolences Peg.....Bernie Baillargeon,Windsor,ONT

Very sad news indeed. My condolences go out to Peg and the family. Bill was a great person to be around and I enjoyed being on his curling team for a few years while in Petrolia. We also traveled to Chicago to curl a couple years in a row. We had so many great times. He was a lovely person who will be dearly missed

Very shocking news. I curled with Bill since he joined Petrolia and then both of us moved on to Sarnia Curling Club. He was a great competitive curler and loved the sport. Shared several stories on and off the ice. He loved talking about his vacations. Bill will always be remembered as a great friend and fellow curler.
Sincere Condolences to you and your family

Bill was a quiet but kind man. I loved when he poked his head in class to say hello. Not a class went by without his presence. Always willing to help and say a kind word. A lovely man, much like his lovely wife.

My Husband Les and I (Heather) Henry were invited to the home of Bill and Peggy for a lovely supper to celebrate John and Sandy visit to Sarnia many moons ago. A lot of memories and great times were shared . Les has since passed also but I will remember that night. They were such great hosts . May the future be bright and may the Lord shine his light upon all your family.

Peggy and Bill have been the most amazing friends to John and me for over 30 years- having countless dinners and travelling together. I first remember meeting Bill when I moved into an apartment he and Peggy were renting 38 years ago. He was always that quiet and very kind man who became a great friend. Bill would do anything for you and he only spoke kind words. Both John and I will miss him so very much. Our hearts go out to Peggy and the family. Bill will remain in our hearts forever.

Dear Peggy and Family - I am so sad to know Bill is no longer near - and that the pandemic kept us apart for much of the past two years. My memories are many and will remain the tie that binds Bill in our hearts and thoughts going forward. Bill was easy to know, quiet yet persuasive, skilled at many things yet ever humble, very generous, a good sport and brother-in-law to me. I will particularly miss him for his culinary skill - I do not know who will carve the Christmas turkey from now on ! May he rest in peace. Love Marian
