Mrs Kemp was like a second mom to me. She was funny when I was growing up and spending all my time at Kris’s house and I loved being there because there was always something fun going on. She took me to lunch a few years ago and her best friend joined us. The two of them shared the most enviable Thelma and Louise adventure they’d lived years before. Her trip to the west coast with her son was such a fantastic testament to her free spirited love for life. She lived an exceptionally long time and I will miss her mischievous sense of fun always. What a wonderful, well lived life!
