Obituary of Brian Raymond Cusden

CUSDEN, Brian Raymond – Peacefully with his family by side, Brian Cusden died at Bluewater Health on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at the age of 78.  Beloved husband of Elizabeth for 50 years.  Loving father of Michael Cusden (Katie), Toronto and Sarah Cusden, Sarnia. Cherished grand dad of Harry and Charlie, Jackson and Josie. Brother-in-law of Raymond Payne (Jennifer), Wallaceburg and Marilynn Fox (the late Jim), Sarnia. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents Frank & Mary Cusden and brother Michael. Brian retired in 1999 from Cogeco where he was a Communications Technician. When he lived in Corunna, Brian was very involved with the community and especially with Christ Anglican Church. He and Elizabeth loved camping throughout Ontario and he enjoyed gardening and feeding the birds. Brian liked to read any newspaper he could get his hands on and you knew when you would run into him you’d get a good conversation. Visitation will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N, Sarnia on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 11 a.m. Please consider wearing a mask or face covering.
