About a year and a half I helped paint Brad and Beth’s apartment. An area in which I lack expertise. Brad however, as most know, could paint/build/refinish in his sleep. As I painted I was certain Brad saw my horrible technique, missed spots and sporadic coverage. I was just waiting to be corrected or asked to do something better. Instead, what I was met with, was Brad popping his head in the room every 40 minutes with a big smile, offering drinks, and genuine gratitude for this layman’s work. He was so appreciative, he cared and was incredibly kind.
I hope one day my woodworking skills and personality traits reach his level.
