Obituary of Janice Louise McAlpine

McAlpine, Janice Louise (nee Ireson) – Suddenly at home, Janice McAlpine died on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at the age of 68. Beloved wife of the late Michael McAlpine (2020). Janice leaves behind her brother Ron Ireson, niece Christan Ireson and nephews Shaun and Dustin. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many, many friends. Predeceased by her parents Florence and William Ireson.  Janice was actively involved with St. John in the Wilderness Anglican Church serving as Lay Leader, Delegate to Synod, AFP representative and member of the ACW. She also represented the Deanery of Lambton on ACW Diocesan Council. Janice enjoyed reading, writing, biking, hiking, pets and wildlife.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at St. John in the Wilderness Anglican Church. Visitation will be held at the church at 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
