Peggy & family;
I just learned of Brian's passing. Condolences, and you all.Brian and I go all the way to St. Joseph's elementary school and Peggy back to grade 5 when my class was bussed to Mrs. FOWLER's classroom at St. Peter's. I was honoured to be best man at your wedding and remember the reception at the Colonial hotel. Life had many shared elements until after many years we took different tacks. You were the best of friends for many years, a life well lived.
If at all possible I will travel to Sarnia to share the celebration of life with you.

I met Brian when I was 16, and he worked at Keelan's in the Service Centre. His job was building and fixing bikes. He and Peggy had just married, and she was expecting Lorrie. He had a customized '49 Ford two-door hardtop with dual exhaust, four on the floor, and three two-barrel carburetors - "triple deuces" was what he called them. Plus, he had a 45 rpm record player installed in the dash of that car. It was just about the coolest car going.
For the next 60 years, Brian and Peggy were a huge part of my life. Theirs was truly a treasured friendship. I will miss him.
