Obituary of Emily A. Lambert

Emily Chumko-Lambert passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at Bethany on the Lake Nursing Center, Alexandria, MN, US on Monday 24 October 2022 at the age of 91. She was the daughter of the late Mary and John Chumko of Sarnia. Emily was a beautiful person, cherished friend to all and wonderful Mother for her two sons Dr. Larry Lambert and his wife Grace of Alexandria, MN, US and Matthew Lambert and his wife Darlene of Wakefield, RI US. Emily is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters Katherine Romanchok, Sister Sophie Chumko, Jessie Mazurkewycz and brothers Nicholas, Michael and John Chumko together with sisters-in-law Stella and Helen Chumko.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022, beginning with visitation from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Center Ltd., 431 Christina St., N., Sarnia Funeral Home.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church at 10:00 a.m. following the visitation.  Interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. Messages of condolence and memories may be left at www.mckenzieblundy.com.
