Obituary of Marie Frenkowski

FRENKOWSKI, Marie – Peacefully at Vision Nursing Home, Marie Frenkowski died on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at the age of 96.  Beloved wife of the late Philip Frenkowski (2004).   

Marie was born December 25, 1926 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.  She is the loving aunt of Michael (Sandy) Kilbreath, Dana (Claude) Hadley, Judy (Gerry) Ellsworth, Helen (Frank) Murphy, Peter (Debbie) Krukowski, Lorrie Patterson and Diane Kilbreath. 

Cherished Grandma to Joy (Steve) Bedard and Jimmy (Lindsay) Kilbreath. 

Great-aunt to Andrew (Vanessa) Hadley, Brian (Miranda) Hadley, Erika Ellsworth, Daniel Murphy, Tamara (Dale) Murphy, Jena Krukowski and Becky (Jeff) DaSilva, Christina Patterson and John Patterson, Katie Kilbreath and Jacob Kilbreath. 

Great-great grandma to Claire Bedard and Silas Bedard, Austin Kilbreath and Madison Kilbreath 

Great-great aunt to Katherine Hadley, Callan Hadley and Luke Ellsworth.   

Good friend to Anne-Marie Gagliardi and Helen Bartos.  Predeceased by her parents Tekla and John Prisiagny and her sister June. 

The Family would like to thank the staff of Vision Nursing Home for their care of Marie in her final years.   

Cremation has taken place.  A private interment will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 519-344-3131.
