John was my neighbour across the hall. I’ve only known him for just over a year but we would run into each other at the elevator or hallway. John was always cheerful and we would strike up a conversation. My dog Sidnee always wanted to greet John and say hello. John would give Sidnee a cookie but made sure she would sit before he gave it to her. Both seemed delighted. My boyfriend Ricardo would also have conversations about work and stories about being a Pipe fitter.John inspired me to always be active . I admired him. He will be missed.
