Obituary of Joseph William Sauve

SAUVE, Joseph William – Peacefully with his daughter by his side, Joseph Sauve died at Bluewater Health on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at the age of 80.  Loving father of Christine Sauve & her husband Dale Huffman, Saskatoon.  Cherished grandfather of Clarice, Candace and Holden Huffman.  Predeceased by his parents Vernon & Louise Sauve and his brother David Sauve.  

Joseph worked for Imperial Oil for over 30 years.  He was a long time member of  the Sarnia Street Machines and active member of a Port Huron flying club. Joe loved flying and owned his own plane. He was part of the volunteer team that restored the Golden Hawk plane in St. Germain Park. Joe made adventurous flights in his small plane to destinations including Oshkosh, Florida and Saskatoon to visit his daughter and grandchildren.   Joe’s grandchildren will always cherish the memories they have of vacations down south and riding roller coasters with their grandpa.  He will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
