Obituary of Guilhermina Valentino

VALENTINO, Guilhermina “Val” – Guilhermina passed away suddenly; however, peacefully at Bluewater Health Palliative Care on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at the age of 77. Beloved wife of the late Rodolfo. Dear mother of Mario and the late Paolo. Loving grandmother of Jessica Newman-Valentino, Cassandra Vandergulik, Nick Vandergulik and Natasha Vandergulik. Great-grandmother of Mya, Max, Medrick and Mathew. Sister of Jaime Torres (Graca), Virginia Pimentel, Mario Pimentel (Jennifer) and Joe Pimentel (Cindy); predeceased by other siblings.

Friends will be received at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 10 a.m.  Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 500-55 St. Clair Ave. West, Toronto, M4V 2Y7 or St. Joseph’s Church, 1011 Oak Ave., Sarnia, N7S 1J4.
