Obituary of Doris Helen Graham

GRAHAM, Doris Helen - Doris died in Brampton Civic Hospital on Monday, April 8, 2024, at the age of 98. Beloved wife of Everett (2008) for 62 years. Loving mother of Barbara Wilcox (Bruce) and Carolyn Graham. Much loved grandmother of Mark (Bliss), Luke (Janine) and Sarah Wilcox (David) and Jeremy (Kristen) Bonk. Great Grandmother of Samuel, Cleo, Annika, Karia, Everly, Jacob and Wyatt. Dear sister of the late Donald Barker (Marjorie) and Robert Barker. Predeceased by parents, Levi and Elsie Barker. Doris loved helping others and was a long standing member of Central United Church (now known as Dunlop Central United Church) in Sarnia and the IODE, Rogers chapter. She loved  to travel and fondly enjoyed the Rockies in Alberta, the Grand Canyon, and Hawaii. She lived in Sarnia in her home near the lake for over 50 years and then enjoyed residing at The Sandpiper. Bridge, coffee with friends, sewing, and hosting family gatherings were special activities. Her energy went to looking after her family, socializing with friends, and volunteering at Central United Church. She will be sadly missed but her legacy is carried on.

Friends will be received at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N., on Friday, April 19, 2024 from 10 am until 12 noon.  The funeral service will follow at Dunlop Central United Church, 757 Rosedale Ave., Sarnia on Friday, April 19 at 2 p.m. Cremation will follow.
