Obituary of Susan Marie Blais

BLAIS, Susan Marie – Suddenly at home, Susan Blais died on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at the age of 58.  Loving wife of Brian Blais.  Cherished mother of Brent Blais (Madison Flamminio), Perre Blais (Jordan Manktelow) and Renae Blais (Jack Adair).  Dear sister of Lori Gendron (Jeff), Scott Nastwold (Hanan) and Lisa Petrie (Tommy) all of Michigan.  Sister-in-law of Harvey Blais (Alice), Michelle Weiss (Al) and Cindy Foubister (Rich).  Will be missed by her loving dog Rufus.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents Lavalda & Edward Nastwold. 

Susie was full of life.  She loved to be at her family cottage on her sandy beach on Lake Huron.  Susie had a passion for animals, sunsets at the beach, water skiing and her boat Defiance.  She was a graduate of Wayne State University and worked as a pharmacist for Bluewater and Hogan Pharmacy for many years. 

Cremation has taken place.  A memorial visitation will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N. on Friday May 3, 2024, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.   To honour her love for animals, memorial donations can be made to the Sarnia & District Humane Society, 131 Exmouth St., Sarnia, N7T 7W8.  Messages of condolence and memories may be left at www.mckenzieblundy.com
