"Mother Theresa"

Beloved wife of the late Stewart Brown (2003). Beloved mother of Michael & Angela, London, Patrick & Terri, Sarnia, David & Debbie, Sarnia, Catharine, Sarnia, Paul & Kelly, Corunna, and Janice & Corey Whitson, Sarnia. Cherished Nanny (grandmother) of Ben Brown, Cormac Brown, Taylor (Lauren) Brown, Kristi Disper (Terry Howe), Nicki (Luke) Ringler, Jordan (Danielle) Brown, Raeanne (Nico) Pashalinos, Emily (James) Gormley, Abby Innis, and Paul and Julie Whitson. Adored Great-Nan of Theo, Avery, Jacob, Mikey, Michael, Jessie, Austin, Ella, Audrey, Brooklyn, JJ, Noah, Rhys, and Summer. Dear sister of Kathleen Foubert, Sarnia. Predeceased by her parents Edward & Florence Reedy, brothers Harry Reedy & William Reedy (Margaret), sister of Rosemarie Matos (Reedy). Loved by many nieces and nephews.
Theresa started her childhood in Port Lambton, ON swimming and skating on the St. Clair river. Raised as a devout Catholic, she instilled her strong belief of faith in her children. She was a founding member of St. Peter’s and Our Lady of Mercy Parishes and was a member of the Catholic Women’s League for 67 years. Engrained with her faith, she lovingly raised six children in her family home of 75 years. Her most precious treasure was her family. As her family continued to grow, she selflessly embraced and guided them. She was the pillar. She cherished her gardens, feeding the birds, backyard fires, and morning coffees on the porch. Following her role as homemaker, Theresa started her career at Sears, sewing customized draperies. She developed a reputation of an exemplary drapery seamstress within the community.
The family would like to express their extreme gratitude for the many healthcare professionals both in-home and during her stay in Palliative Care. Your empathetic and loving care will never be forgotten. Thank you to Dr. Allison Crombeen, VON, Community Care Partners & Nurse Stacie, Lambton EMS & Bluewater Health Palliative Care Team.
