Obituary of Janet Elizabeth Pinsonneault

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Janet Elizabeth Pinsonneault (Rankin) on September 28, 2024. Born on May 18, 1944, Janet lived most of her life in Sarnia where she has touched countless lives with her love, her warmth, and unwavering kindness.

Janet is survived by her husband Frank Pinsonneault, with whom she worked side by side at Pinsonneault Fitness Clubs and later at Splashdown/Bluewater Fun Park. She will be deeply missed by her children: Sean & Donna Pinsonneault, Beth Pinsonneault & Matt Garvin, and Jason & Jennifer Pinsonneault. "Meme" leaves behind cherished memories of laughter with her grandchildren: Carter, Bailey, Isabella, Nicholas, and Clementine, who were her pride and joy. Janet is also survived by her loving sister, Pat Leatherdale.

A celebration of life will be held at the Moose Lodge, 874 Phillip St E. (off Confederation) from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 3, 2024.  As an expression of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to Habitat for Humanity or the Canadian Cancer Society.
