Saddened to learn about the passing of Sime Maruna. As a high school friend of Mark's, I have fond memories of his Dad as such a positive, upbeat, generous person with a warm personality and always a smile on his face. Reading through the details of his remarkable life here, one has to admire how far he came from his humble beginnings in Croatia, his journey to Canada, his family life, his dedication to his work, his faith, and his positive spirit throughout.
