We are neighbours of Ed's - many days we chatted as we walked to the grocery store about what was for supper, what the best flavour of ice cream is, you name it. Always a smile, and a friendly hello. The birds, chipmunks and squirrels were so well looked after near his balcony - they will be much thinner this winter. Rest easy Ed - we will miss you.

Well I want to thank you for being my ONLY brother and for all the goalie lessons I got when we were small. Sorry I was not the brother that you would have wanted but we worked that out. You and Megan can find some else to give my treats too. Love you and miss you bunches and give her a kiss and hug from me,.

Ed,Thanks for being in our life.Someone will write about you and it ll be a bestselling book of humour. It ll be tough to watch any sport without thinking of you, or Saturday Night Live,or Sunday Morning,or listen to Bob McKeown,or go over the Bridge, or to the Esplanade.... or a million other things .For the record, you are pretty, the Rangers are trash, the Lions except for Barry Sanders and Alex Karass are and always have caused us misery, Home Plate bar wasnt as good as Lindells (but darned close),Briggs Stadium was king (I argued Comerica to drive you nuts)and , I will miss you, very ,very much.Megan, show your Daddy his new surroundings.Miss you guys.

I am Ed's Aunt Milly and I remember him always being around, whether we wanted him to be or not, when my sister Marian & brother Ron and I were kids. He grew on us then and we could't get rid of him but now I wish he were here. Ed, we will miss you but you are now with your precious daughter Megan whom you missed beyond words.
