I was fortunate to meet Frederick several times at his place on Kathleen and earlier this year on Queen St. I was impressed by his resilience in the face of his difficult circumstances. It sounds like he had some wonderful support people in his corner. RIP Fred Ronan O'Donnell

My sincere condolences to Fred’s families and friends. I have such fond memories of Fred during the time( almost 4 years) that I worked for and cared for him. We started out strangers and became very good friends.. We made many many shopping trips. He would tell me which way to turn. And don’t I try to take a different way…he always knew… With all of Fred’s struggles, nothing could stop or slow him down, he was always creating something…or I was lol Fred taught me a lot about life. And taught me how to use tools I should have never touched…and he would always say “how are you going to learn if you don’t try.” So of course I tried..again and again.. I will miss the stories we used to talk about…he would make me laugh and occassionally I could actually catch him off guard and his childish laughter would fill the room… I will remember Fred for ever…and miss him dearly…RIP Fred
