I use to see Hav all over the place at Polysar. He worked at the Laundery, driving old 73 vac truck at Styrene, and at the desk at the Landfill. I always looked forward to chatting with him, and there were lots of laughs. He was a great guy. My condolences to his family. From Terry Wilson

My sincere condolences to the Toms family. Havelyn was such a great guy to work with. He was extremely conscientious, energetic, caring and an all around good guy. So sorry about your loss.

Uncle Hav was a sweet, gentle, kind and giving man to his entire extended family. I never saw him cross or grumpy and was always sympathetic and uplifting to others with his joy.
He also had every tool one would ever need for self “fix-it’s” around the house that were hung almost alphabetically so nothing was misplaced!
I also remember vividly when I was once sitting for my cousins, his children, studying for a particularly complicated mathematics course him telling me as he looked over my shoulder that he wish he had been a better student. Now years later I can say it’s more important to be a better person - Uncle Hav was all that.
I am sorry that I cannot be with you today but you will always be in my heart.
